On the occasion of 15th August, MyGov Lakshadweep warmly invites all citizens to join the Tiranga Hoisting activity and celebrate the spirit of Independence Day. This is a moment to come together as proud Indians, unite with fellow islanders, and honour the sacrifices of our freedom fighters. Raise the National Flag high, capture the vibrant and patriotic moments, and share them on the MyGov platform for the nation to see. Through this initiative, let us showcase Lakshadweep’s unity, pride, and unwavering love for our country, inspiring others to keep the Tiranga flying high in their hearts.
How to Participate:
1. Hoist the Tiranga on 15th August.
2. Capture a photograph of the moment.
3. Upload your entry on the MyGov Lakshadweep platform.
Gratification: Top 3 participants will receive e-certificate of appreciation.
Let’s make this Independence Day memorable by painting Lakshadweep in the colors of our Tiranga!
Terms and Conditions:
1. The competition is open to all interested applicants.
2. All entries must be submitted on MyGov Lakshadweep Entries submitted through any other medium/mode would not be considered for evaluation.
3. The participants should make sure that his/her MyGov profile accurate and updated for further communication.
4. Each participant will be allowed to submit only one photograph.
5. Entries once submitted cannot be withdrawn.
6. The photograph should be in JPG or PNG format only with high resolution with minimum 300 DPI.
7. Only colour Geo-tagged photograph (maximum 2 MB size) will be accepted.
8. The applicant shall submit the Theme and Short description of the Photo in a PDF document.
9. The Photograph should be original. Copied, photoshopped or edited pictures/selfies will not be accepted.
10. The winning entries would be the intellectual property of the organizer, and the winners shall not exercise any right over it.
11. All the entry received by the organizer will be placed in front of a Selection Committee for final selection. The decision of the committee will be final and binding to all the entries. No requests relating to claims of re-evaluation of the entries will be considered.
12. Organizers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late or incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s reasonable control. Please note proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt of the same.
13. Participant must be the sole author and owner of the copyright of the photographs submitted and the photographs should not have been previously published in any print and digital media.
14. The entry must not contain any provocative, objectionable or inappropriate content.
15. By participation, the participant is submitting his/her no objection for screening of this photo for jury. If selected, the photo will become the sole property of the Lakshadweep Islands may use this film for any campaign for promoting the cause Lakshadweep Islands.
16. All disputes/ legal complaints are subject to the jurisdiction of Lakshadweep only. Expenses incurred for this purpose will be borne by the parties themselves.
17. By participating in the contest, the participants shall abide by all the terms and conditions of this contest, including any amendments or further updates.
18. The terms and conditions henceforth shall be governed by Indian laws and the judgments of the Indian judicial system.
